We have been waiting to see when this cutie pie would arrive! His big sister was born way before her due date so momma wanted to make sure she was able to photograph her maternity session before Filip arrived this time. If you didn’t check it out, you can find it HERE. My heart absolutely melted seeing these two together!
This little guy did arrive a little early, but was on his way home and ready for his session about a month after his appearance. He slept the entire session. Through the music, the dancing, and chatting, and even a coffee break! We waited for a bit of sun to come in the morning, this week was a super rainy and cloud week… but we got lucky with some beautiful light through the windows. Condos tend to be a little darker (unless they are the high rise – all glass walls) with these situations I bump up my ISO and then with a few tweeks in lightroom, we are able to still have the bright style. I love a little bit of grain in the photos as well… it adds an extra layer of texture!
I’ve already had a few people ask about the dress big sister is wearing, and it is from Target! It is perfect for lifestyle sessions, an off white color with thin sparkly lines down the whole dress. Flowy, simple and beautiful! Here are some more ideas on colors and ideas for your outfits! I love helping my clients put together outfits. Sticking with pale colors makes your family pop instead of bringing all of the attention to your clothing. Also adding layers and accessories brings an extra bit of depth to the image… which is always a plus!
