LET'S COnNECT:

My name is Nastja... pronounced Nah-st-ya. :-) I am originally from Bosnia, but have lived in Georgia most of my life. My hubby and I met through friends and got married in Argentina (his birthplace!) Shortly after, we welcomed our baby girl, Lucia (now 5). She is bold and all personality packed into one tiny sized person and she has stolen my heart. Our son, Mateo (now 3) was born right at the beginning of the pandemic. He has taught me to take in each moment and savor it - he has been so pure and gentle since the moment he arrived.  I am so lucky to be their mama.

My passion for photography began with my father. He first taught me on his film Pentax and I have been in love ever since. We used to look at his old film scans on a projector on the wall and I loved how each one told a story about his life and my childhood that we could treasure forever. When my children were born, my passion took an entirely different role. I wanted to remember their little toes, dimples, the way they held my hand while learning to walk, how they looked at me, everything. I want to gift these pure and genuine memories for you to keep for a lifetime. I hope they bring you warmth as you walk by the frames in your hallway or go down memory lane in your album.

Hi, I'm nastja

I used to teach 1st and 2nd grade in my first life. Now, I love carrying over all of the lessons, tips, and activities onto my own babies at home.

A quiet coffee shop with delicious Turkish Coffee or Cappuccino and a pastry on the side. This is what I need to get through the busy seasons.

We are a trilingual family and can fit in just about anywhere!  We are in Argentina and Bosnia the majority of our vacations, but love 30a, beaching, and skiing year-round!!

We are always together. Cuddling in bed, running on soccer fields, cooking in our kitchen, and doing crafts - these little things make my life complete.

my all-time favs:

frequently asked questions

I always suggest to stick to light neutrals with subtle pops of color/print. Avoid matching everyone in the same color or same tones. To create depth, select 2 neutrals and 1 light color tone,  choose one or two outfits with prints in the colors chosen, then accessorize.  I like to stay away from stripes or clothing that is too busy with tons of color, pictures and logos!

I provide dress options, styling direct links to family outfits and inspiration. Wardrobe is very important in the final look of your gallery - I always ask clients to send me photos of what they currently have or want so that we can build on it for each member of the family.

01. What do we wear?

It takes about 1.5-2 weeks for your gallery to be ready for viewing. I will reach out about a week after your session to set up a day and time that would be best for your viewing/ordering appointment. During the appointment, you will view your full gallery and be able to see and choose your heirloom pieces.

02. HOW LONG AFTER THE SESSION WILL MY GALLERY BE READY?

The Petite Collection is only 30 minutes, it is basically a mini session done in home or on location. These are perfect for quick heirloom photo, grandparent updates, little milestones, or a Holiday card photo.  Some parents may think that the Signature Collection, 1.5 hours is too long for their baby, but trust me, it is not! It gives you and your little ones time to get comfortable so that we can get genuine emotion and smiles in your photographs without rushing. You will be able to view your full gallery and choose 10 images to download. It is $125 to upgrade to your full gallery download.

03. IS THE PETITE SESSION ENOUGH TIME? HOW MUCH IS THE GALLERY UPGRADE?

Yes, you are able to save, share and print for personal use.
There is a huge difference in your photos when you print with a professional lab vs companies online.  All of our prints are on Museum Etching - Archival heavy paper and will not fade or yellow over the years. Our album quality is is incomparable, so I would 100% recommend printing with us.

04  can i print the photos on my own?

Yes! We work with the absolute best and most talented hair and make up artists in Atlanta. Although it is not a necessity, I would definitely recommend hiring an HMUA before our session.  She will come to your home about an hour before the session to begin.  Adding that pop that you need for photos is really noticeable. If you love doing your own hair and make up, then that works great as well, just make sure to add in a little more than your usually daytime routine.

05. DO YOU OFFER HAIR/MAKEUP RECOMMENDATIONS?

Both options are beautiful and have their own benefits. It is truly up to you.
In home sessions - you will have heirloom memories of your baby's first home, nursery, and true locations of the moments that are so special to you in these first few weeks. If your home does not have much natural light and you fear that it will be too dark, then you can also consider a studio session.
I use a few different studios in Atlanta, Woodstock, and Cumming, depending on the most convenient location for you. Each studio has beautiful natural light, home style decor, and a bright blank canvas for us to create photographs that are fully focused on your family.

06. SHOULD WE DO AN IN HOME OR IN STUDIO NEWBORN SESSION?
