In home newborn photos are my favorite. Why?
1. You are more comfortable at home. You have what you need right there so there is no stress of packing up your newborn and your 100 other must haves. I come to you. Also, most of my mommas hire hair/makeup to come before the session as well. 2. You will have your home in all of your photographs. The your baby’s first home. First nursery. First everything. I truly think that is the most beautiful background. Your house may not be magazine ready, it may not have floor to ceiling windows for light, but it is yours and that makes it perfect. Unfortunately, some homes really don’t have the light that we need to take those crisp photos, but I always try to find the pockets of light, near windows, doors, even going outside if the weather is nice! There are so many ways to capture these fleeting weeks and I would be humbled to work with you and your family! Although I love in home newborn photos, I will post more on studio newborn sessions too, but if you have the light and want to try an in home newborn photo session…. do it!!
