I really enjoy bringing a romantic touch to our maternity sessions. You can choose between having the session at a beautiful outdoor location, your home or in a cozy studio. I usually suggest planning the session for when you're around 30-35 weeks pregnant, but we can adjust based on how you're feeling. I will help with outfit coordination and tips and tricks along the way.
As an Atlanta maternity photographer, it's all about capturing your journey, so we'll make sure to involve your family and even the older kids. I know that as the weeks pass, you'll be eagerly counting down the days, but remember, you'll soon look back fondly on the times when you felt your baby's kicks and your adorable pregnant belly.
The Portrait Experience begins right here – with communication and connection! We will plan a call where we go over details, the experience, how I can help, and chat about the vision for your Portrait Experience. Once we decide that we are a good fit, we begin planning!
Let's chat to make sure we are a good fit!

During your session, we will get whole family looking at camera photos, individual child photos, and tons of naturally guided photos that will show your family's true smiles and pure love. step 03 of 06
Gallery, Frames, and Albums galore!
We will set a date for your ordering/viewing appointment within 2 weeks after your session. We have the option of meeting in your home or an online call. Here, you will view your gallery for the first time, see our beautiful frames and prints, visualize them on your walls, and of course, take a look at our most beautiful heirloom albums. You will be able to purchase your digital images and artwork today and download your gallery as well!
step 04 of 06
You will have access to your digital images right after the ordering appointment and your artwork will arrive in about 3-4 weeks. I believe that your photographs should be displayed so that you feel the warmth and joy from each moment you walk by them in your home, when your child looks through their album they feel and know their place in their family, and you are able to pass down these beautiful memories for generations.
Creating your Heirlooms
step 05 of 06
06. should we do an outdoor or in Studio session?
05. Do you offer hair/Makeup recommendations?
04. Can i book the maternity and newborn session together?
03. Is the petite session enough time? How much is the gallery upgrade?
02. How long after the session will my gallery be ready?
01. WHAT DO WE WEAR FOR OUR ATLANTA MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
I always suggest to stick to light neutrals with subtle pops of color/print. Avoid matching everyone in the same color or same tones. To create depth, select 2 neutrals and 1 light color tone, choose one or two outfits with prints in the colors chosen, then accessorize. I like to stay away from stripes or clothing that is too busy with tons of color, pictures and logos!
As your Atlanta maternity photographer, I provide dress options, styling direct links to family outfits and inspiration. Wardrobe is very important in the final look of your gallery - I always ask clients to send me photos of what they currently have or want so that we can build on it for each member of the family.
01. What do we wear for our atlanta maternity photography session?
It takes about 1.5-2 weeks for your gallery to be ready for viewing. I will reach out about a week after your session to set up a day and time that would be best for your viewing/ordering appointment. During the appointment, you will view your full gallery and be able to see and choose your heirloom pieces.
02. HOW LONG AFTER THE SESSION WILL MY GALLERY BE READY?
The Petite Collection is only 30 minutes, it is basically a mini session done in home or on location. I do not recommend these for a newborn session! They are perfect for quick heirloom photo, grandparent updates, little milestones, or a Holiday card photo. Some parents may think that the Signature Collection, 1.5 hours is too long for their baby, but trust me, it is not! It gives you and your little ones time to get comfortable so that we can get genuine emotion and smiles in your photographs without rushing. It also gives us time to feed and calm baby to sleep for poses. If you choose the Petite, you will be able to view your full gallery and choose 10 images to download. It is $125 to upgrade to your full gallery download.
03. IS THE PETITE SESSION ENOUGH TIME? HOW MUCH IS THE GALLERY UPGRADE?
Yes. If you book your newborn session you can book a maternity session as an add on. I also offer Milestone sessions which capture 3-4 sessions in that first 12-18 months. In the Milestone, you also receive print credit as well as a gorgeous 10x10 heirloom custom album.
04. Can I book the maternity and newborn session together??
Yes! We work with the absolute best and most talented hair and make up artists in Atlanta. Although it is not a necessity, I would definitely recommend hiring an HMUA before our session. She will come to your home about an hour before the session to begin. Adding that pop that you need for photos is really noticeable. If you love doing your own hair and make up, then that works great as well, just make sure to add in a little more than your usually daytime routine.
05. DO YOU OFFER HAIR/MAKEUP RECOMMENDATIONS?
Both options are beautiful and have their own benefits. It is truly up to you.
A lot of it depends on the weather and your personal style. I have a list of beautiful outdoor locations that I love.
I use a few different studios in Atlanta, Woodstock, and Cumming, depending on the most convenient location for you. Each studio has beautiful natural light, home style decor, and a bright blank canvas for us to create photographs that are fully focused on your family.
