Okay, so first things first… Taylor Swift is engaged!
Cue the confetti and the happy tears! 🎉 I don’t know about you, but I’m genuinely so excited for her. Love stories like this just make me melt, and of course my photographer brain immediately went to one thing: her engagement photos. And honestly, I keep wondering: who gets the honor of being her photographer? Whoever it is, wow… what a dream job.
But here’s the thing—even though not all of us are Taylor Swift (as fun as that would be!), our own love stories and family stories matter just as much. Your engagement, your newborn snuggles, your family’s giggles—these are the moments that deserve to be remembered just as much!
It’s so easy to put off photos because life is busy, or because we don’t feel “perfect” enough to be in front of the camera. I’ve photographed only a handful of weddings (three, to be exact!), but my heart is rooted in families and newborns.
